Heya, I'm Sally
I'm the Founder and Chief Collaboration Officer for Revolution Consulting Group.
A Little About Me!
I have a gift for understanding people, helping them find their purpose and how people can make or break a business. I also have a knack for understanding business on a deeper level and leveraging people, strategy, processes, systems and frameworks to get the best outcome for everyone.
I’ve worked for private, government and not for profit businesses for over 20 years and worked in specialist HR, operational leadership and strategic/executive roles. The higher I climbed the ladder and more successful I was, the more I believed I could make a difference in improving business outcomes while respecting, engaging and rewarding employees. However over the years I saw many businesses and leaders who didn’t care about their people and were not living the values they were promoting. I saw people being increasingly overworked, over- stressed and undervalued.
I found as a HR and Executive Leader, I started being asked to do things that didn’t align with my personal Values or the Values that some businesses were portraying publicly. Doing the right thing was seen as a barrier instead of a benefit and showing integrity and compassion in leadership, was not always welcomed.
There were many times I worked with businesses and teams to improve workplace culture, productivity and happiness only for it to be undone in a matter of weeks or months by bad leaders or bad decisions and I found this not only frustrating but heart-breaking.
In 2021, I decided it was time to leave the corporate world and follow my heart. I wanted to do more than being confined to working for just one business. I wanted to work with people that were aligned with my Values and I wanted to support both individuals and businesses become more people centric, more focused on finding win-win solutions for both business success and individual growth and happiness and help people level up in their personal and professional life.
I believe that you can make tough decisions with integrity and compassion and get outstanding personal and business outcomes.
I believe the only way to have a healthy, high performing team is to treat your people with respect while holding them accountable.
I believe that leaders are rarely given the right training or support and they don’t always know how to have it all – a thriving, profitable business and happy, productive employees, plus a fulfilling personal life. To me, it’s all connected, and it all starts and ends with people.
I believe that growing small and medium size businesses need the same advice and support to understand their employment obligations and manage their people through strong leadership, processes and systems as big businesses do.
This is why I started my own business, to revolutionise the old leadership ways of thinking and stale ways of working.

I consider myself a straight-shooting change maker, leading a people first revolution! That’s how I came up with my business name. I’m a qualified HR Practitioner and Coach and I want to share my knowledge and help people become happier, more fulfilled and kick ass in both their personal and work life and help businesses thrive and be considered great places to work. I’m doing this by sharing my knowledge in the following areas:
HR Consulting and Support
I love helping growing small and medium businesses with HR, Business & Leadership solutions. It doesn't matter if you are about to hire your first employee or ticking over to employee number 100, I Can help you get your HR requirements sorted.
I guide businesses leaders, HR Executives, CEO's and Executive teams in larger to prioritise their people and their employee experience. I can create and implement fit for purpose strategies, frameworks and structures to drive business excellence businesses with and through people . I also partner with businesses on workplace culture development and transformation programs and aligning business strategies and values.
Executive and Leadership Coaching
I work with aspiring leaders, leaders of all levels and small business owners to level up their leadership skills, increase individual and team effectiveness and make a greater impact. I work with the whole person which includes personal and professional challenges, strategies and alignment. I provide executive coaching and leadership training (both in groups and individually).
Personal Development Coaching for Non-Leaders
Personal development and leadership coaching isn’t just for leaders. I work with ambitious, driven and fun-loving individuals to reach their personal/professional goals, learn new skills and develop to their full potential.
Recruitment Services
I provide cost effective permanent recruitment services for across all roles and all industries. I will find you the right person for the job who has both the right Values and right skills that your business needs, without the price tag of the big agencies.
Corporate Training
I work with businesses who want to train both existing and the next generation of leaders to be heart-based leaders, with creative and innovative decision making and problem-solving skills.
HR For Everyone
Every time I catch up with friends, someone always says “Hey Sally, I’ve got a HR question for you”…… There are lots of questions that people have that they feel they can’t ask their boss or their own HR department. Sometimes they want to discuss an issue they are having at work, or they want to understand a policy, procedure or their employment contract better. Sometimes they want to know how to go about asking for a pay rise or putting their hand up for a project or a training course and occasionally they find themselves facing a disciplinary process and want someone to be honest with them as to what to expect, what their options are and what action they may be facing.
There are so many work-related questions and there are so few services providing support for employees. I believe that good HR advice should be affordable and available for everyone, not just businesses and that’s why I created my HR for Everyone service.
What I Do Outside of Work!
Working with the Community
Giving back to my community is important to me so my husband and myself have worked with our local Rotary club, as well as supporting PCYC programs. I’m currently on the committee for the NSW Rotary Inspirational Women’s Awards (RIWA). RIWA recognises women who often going un-noticed but are doing amazing things in their local communities.
I’ve also worked as a volunteer mentor for both the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) and Beaumont People LEAD mentoring program.
Other Business Interests
Just like the rest of the world, I have a side gig! I’ve run Rock. Beauty. Soul. - a make up and skincare business, part time for the last 5 years.
I love giving tips, tutorials and hacks in my Facebook group and on my Instagram page to help teach busy women like me who have no idea, how to look after their skin, put on easy make up and boost their confidence.
Through this business I have been able to work with charity organisations and supported many community events.
And for fun…
You’ll find me watching a live band wherever possible (generally heavy metal or hard rock) and having BBQ's or casual catch ups with friends. I also love a road trip with hubby whether it’s for a day or a few weeks.
My husband, Craig, and I have been known to do LIVE Facebook cocktail videos or beer tastings for Cocktail Saturday's, which started during the COVID lockdowns, so you may see us pop up from time to time doing these and having a laugh.
